HOW THE GALA WILL WORK?

  • Tickets: Each ticket comes with one full gourmet meal as designed and prepared by our celebrity chefs and a bottle of red and white wine. While we would love to accommodate all your last-minute requests, it will be difficult for us to make any last-minute adjustments on ticketing. Please plan your evening accordingly.

  • Food Delivery: We are doing everything to make this as simple as possible. The entire package for your evening's experience includes food, 2 bottles of wine (a red wine bottle and a white wine bottle), and instructions will be safely delivered to your doorstep on April 1st. Meal delivery will be included to those within a 1-hour drive from Santa Clara County (including SF). You should plan to take a little time before the event begins to heat up the food so that you and your loved ones can enjoy a lovely warm meal during the program. Heating instructions will also be included. There will also be an option to pick up food from 12 pm to 4 pm at the WVCS office. Please let us know beforehand if you wish to pick up food from the WVCS office.

Note: An adult 21 or over will need to be present to accept the package, as there will be wine included.

  • Attending the Virtual Gala: You will receive a link via email to open up the Gala webcast page. Our broadcast will begin at 6 pm on April 1st. Instructions on logging in will be shared closer to the event date.

    • Please note that you will not be on video, so you can enjoy your meal and the program at the same time. Our platform will also allow you to interact with our hosts via a chat portal, however, you will not be seen on video. Guests will also be able to make pledges online during the Live Pledge section of the evening. We will share more details and clear instructions to ensure you can enjoy your experience to the fullest. We encourage you to dress up and take pictures with your friends and to be included in our post-event gallery.

IMPORTANT  NOTE: The last date to change the address for food delivery will be March 25, 2022.

No change in address will be accommodated after this date.

The program will run for about 1.5 to 2 hours.

  • Is it true my meal will be door-delivered to the place of my choice?

Yes, meal delivery is included to those within a 1-hour drive from Santa Clara County (including SF). The food courses will be delivered to you on the day of the event. Please make sure to include the address where you wish the meal to be delivered and the phone number when you buy your tickets.

  • Whom will I be seeing on the broadcast?

Our hosting team will also be a part of the program and will be interacting with you (the guests) through the course of the evening. Our three master chefs will present their courses, discuss their meal preparation, ingredients, and share their experiences.

  • How will I vote for a Chef?

You will have the ability to vote online for your favorite Chef.

  • What is in the gala package?

The gala package will include a dinner kit with appetizers, a fresh meal, and dessert, plus a bottle of red and white wine. This will be safely delivered to your doorstep on the day of the event, April 1st, no later than 3 pm.

  • Is this an online event?

Yes, this is a live and online event, although some portions are pre-recorded. You will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.

  • Is the food going to be cooked or do I need to cook it?

The food will be ready to eat. Just like any order from a restaurant. All you have to do is warm it up, plate it (like the pictures that will be included in the kit), and enjoy your meal.

You can choose between a vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal when buying a ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to special allergies or other dietary needs.
